BCBS question

I'm gonna call them tomorrow but I was wonderingif anyone here can tell me if they had BCBS of Alabama what thier hospital copay was for RYN?

Hi Jennifer.  With my BCBS plan my copay was $100.  I have Public Education plan.

Thanks Debbie, I'm hoping that mine isn't gonna be over 200. They haven't told me anything about it yet but someone told me that I will have to pay it the day I go in for my blood work I dunno. But I want to be prepared.

It depends on your copay for BCBS .. For in hospital stay overnight for any procedure inclusing surgery , my co-pay is $300.00.  For same day , our plan is $150.00 do unless there is something I dont know , it depends on your individual co-pay

Our used to be $100.00 and 75.00 but my work changed and raised our BCBS insurance plans .

Morning Michele! I did sleep well thanks. How you feeling this morning? I'll be calling them at 8 am sharp this morning. Hopefully I'll have some answers soon. I'll call and letcha know. Nothing is gonna stop me from having this surgery.... God has brought me this far and I'm sure he will see me throught till the end. Love you girl and have a great day!

Mine was $100, that was it. All I had to pay was the first visit to my surgeon (prior to surgery), the cost of the evel w/the nut and the pt eval. I had my surgery for approx. $500, total. All I owed the hospital was the copay. That covered surgeon, anethesia, everything.

Wow thats good! I had to pay $25 each time I went for a 7 month diet and exercise visit to my regular Dr and then $185 for the first surgeon visit $50 for the NUT meeting.. and I dunno how much to the hospital yet. $410 so far.. still a small price to pay to have a life saving surgery. But I must admit it is alot of money for me and my family... Have a great day!

I have BCBS of Alabama.  I had to pay the $100 deductible and then $15 a day co pay.  My total i paid was $130.00.  I had to pay that the day i went for my pre op stuff.
