What'cha'll EATIN' today?

Some friends of ours took Kyle and I out to lunch after church today for Kyle's b'day.  Yep, it's been a weekend long celebration.  ha ha!  He always celebrates 2-3 days for his b'day.  I blame it on his parents never celebrating their kids b'days.  I've always made a big deal out of his birthday and our girls cause I know he never had that before.  I will never forget his first b'day we were together.  I bought him a gift and cake and he wanted me to take it back.  He just wasn't used to such a thing.  Now, he LOVES it.  He got the birthday song and hat at the mexican place today with the sopapilla.  They smeared whipped cream all over his face and he loved every minute of it.  I had a taco and Kyle had steak fajitas.  All was good.

So, with all that said....WHAT ARE YOU EATING TODAY???

It is so rare that we are home on Sunday so I COOKED.  I did Chicken and Dumplings, Dressing, Field Peas, Pork Roast with potatoes and carrots, Corn Bread and Rolls and Mandarin Orange cake.  I cooked for about 5 hours all together and we ate in about 15 minutes.  Something is wrong here.......

Hello, I hope all is well with everyone. Today I cooked baked ham, mac and cheese, greenbeans w/potatoes, rolls and made lemon cake.  We haven't eaten yet, after cooking and cleaning up my mess, I like to take a breather.  Have a great evening and God Bless.

We ate at Lulu's after church today. She will be featured on the Today Show tommorrow morning!! I will have to watch it.. It's Lucy Buffett (sister of Jimmy Buffett)
I had a tuna melt (well about 1/4 of it). Donna had some Mahi Tacos which looked great.
The view was awesome and made the meal better.. but it sure was HOT!! I am so glad it's raining now it's cooling it off a wee bit here.

Hi Elle, I cooked today. Maxie is sick and in bed. We had baby lima beans,corn bread,slaw,sweet potatoes,turnip greens, Boston Butt and strawberries. Yummy!!!! Ellen

Awww, I'm glad ya'll got taken out for Kyle's birthday!  Mmmm, Mexican food.  I could eat it almost every day!

We grilled burgers, hot dogs and kielbasa.  I just fixed some sugar-free slaw to go with it.  We didn't do fries or anything as Bill is low-carbing right now and Tara and I aren't eating them either!

I have been in the kitchen all day putting up garden vegies so it was cheeseburgers for us tonight
