some of the recipes  from egg face's (Shelly) blog?  She posts often on the main board and has developed some really good protein ice cream recipes.  I made chocolate protein ice cream today and even hubby liked it!  I believe part of the reason Shelly has been soooo successful is because she has developed so many WLS friendly recipes.  You can look back in her archives and find alot of good stuff too.  Just thought I'd pass along her link:

Funny you asked Im currently making some of her bites! The breakfast ones and the pizza ones, they make great quick pre made breakfasts! I just ordered an icecream maker so I can try her protein ice cream! I love everything I have tried from her website so far its a great resource for those that have never checked it out!

Yeah, the bites are so good and so many different ways you can make them.  I'm excited you're getting an ice cream maker.  You will love the protein ice cream recipes.  I have the Cuisinart countertop model and we use it alot!

I am excited to try it! Jerry is not as.... excited. I tend to no like anything that has a protein-y flavor. I manage to get it down a few times and then give up! But I have only heard good things so far! Do you have any suggestions as to an easy flavor to try Im going to use the Vanilla Protein powder I think...

Well, several of her recipes call for the vanilla protein powder.  I am think any one that has several different flavors added such as sugar free syrups and fruit or cinnamon would be good as they would tend to mask the flavor of the protein more.  You can also add extra splenda and that will help with the taste.

You're welcome Kim!  I wish I could move to California and live next door to Shelly.  She's obviously an awesome cook. Well, I could do without California, but maybe we could get her to move here??  LOL!

Hmmm is she already married? We could hook her up with a nice alabama gentleman and get her here.
Maybe I should get my butt in gear and try to get some dishes more WLS friendly. I could cook all day and be a happy camper....but with it being just the two of us here it kind of takes the fun out of it. I bake alot but nothing good for us. Coworkers certainly dont complain though. well except for when I dont make anything

The recipes look great. I sent the link to a friend of mine who had RNY last year and my sister who had LB back in November. I'll have to try them out.

I've seen her website...actually have it bookmarked.  But I've never tried anything.  She does have a lot of good recipes out there though.  I get in a rutt and cook things I know off the top of my head.  I know...I need to venture out some...LOL.
