Hi lurker coming out of the dark! lol

I've been lurking for a few weeks. Currently I'm waiting on my insurance to modify my approval (after sending them paperwork 6 times they approved me for the wrong surgery!) and then I'll get my surgery date! I can't wait to get to surgery any discomfort can't be as bad as knee surgery!

Since I started my journey back in November my family has experienced our bumps on the road - DH was in the hospital at Christmas for ministrokes, we lost everything in an apartment fire in March, I had to undergo knee surgery in April and the list goes on. But you know what? God is good and He has seen us thru!

I have three children who keep us busy and DH is a pastor at a small church north of Huntsville. It has been nice to come and check out the board and see how much each of you support each other. I've been very fortunate to have a wonderful support group made of friends and family who support my decision.

It's getting too quiet in the house which means the kids are into something  but I'm sure they'll claim it is nothing

Thank you for all of the welcomes! The past few months have not been easy but God has a purpose for my family and I experiencing them. I'm not a whiner by nature and when there is a challenge in front of me I say let's go for it! Needless the past few months have been challenging!
