Saturday Coffee Anyone?

WOO HOO It is Saturday!  I didn't sleep that good.  I woke up every hour on the hour.  So much on my mind.  Just so you all know, Torey moved out yesterday.  He is living with Joie's sister Lora.  He is going to LBW Community College in Andalusia to get his general studies and she lives 10 minutes from the school.  My heart is heavy because I miss him, but I know it is best because of gas.  After a year of general studies, he plans to transfer to Troy University to become a School Teacher.  I miss my boy so much!  I need your prayers!!!  REALLY I DO! He is on his way here now to spend the day with us.  I'm so proud of him for going to school.  He is 19 and in that adult/teen transition.   I remember that age.  He misses us too.  He called and will be here by 6:30. 

So, what are you sipping on this morning?  I'm LOVING me some Snickerdoodle coffee sent to me by my awesome friend Kelly in Minesotta!  I can't wait for the Bama Board folks to meet her.  She's in our wedding and she already has a special place in both Mine and Lucy's hearts.  Ya'll will love her!  If you see her post, please give her a wonderful Bama Board Family welcome!  She reads and lurks here.  She's an awesome lady!  We love you Kelly!

Cheer up Daddy.  All kids must leave the nest at some point but have no fear.  They usually come back loaded with LAUNDRY every week   Seriously, It is a huge step for him and be proud that he wants to continue his education.  You have 2 kids that you can certainly be proud of especially in todays world.

I am headed to my front porch with a hot cup of coffee and watch the traffic go by.  It is soooo nice to sit on the porch and everybody waves as they pass.  Small town life--nothing like it

Thank you my friend.  I AM proud of both my babies.  I knew the day would come, but I wasn't expecting it like this or this soon!  LOL  I'm proud he is going to college.  He and I just had a good talk.  He is just at that adult/teen transition.  LOL

Good morning my friend!!!  I have been praying for you last night and I thought of you and Torey when I got up this morning.  I know God is going to take care of both of you.  I am having me some Hazelnut Prailine this morning.  It is soooo good.  I guess I'll go and buy a few groceries this morning, as much as I hate to.  You have a great day and enjoy your time with Torey this morning.  I love ya!!!  (Call me later if you have time.)

Oh Randall,  I will keep you in my prayers.  I can't imagine my boys leaving for any length of time, when Terrell left in June to go to S.Carolina for the summer I cried for 2 days.  But I knew that this was only for a few months and he would be coming home.  With Torey you know he will never leave his daddy, at least not for good.  You have 2 great kiddos and they both love their daddy.  Right now, even though you are already proud of him, he wants you to be even more proud so he is going to continue his education and be a great Teacher!!!  God had a wonderful plan for your boy!  Be happy that he wants to spend time with his daddy, allot of kids don't!

I just finished a little 8oz bottle Strawberry Lowfat Milk and about to start on my 1st bottle of water for the day!

Being an empty nester, I know what you mean.  I was happy to see  my son get out on his own, but miss having him around.  You'll get used to it in time.  Especially since you know that the move was a positive one.

I am sippin on some plain on Folgers.  Haven't gotten around to getting some good coffee just yet so it'll just have to do for now.  I only drink 1/2-1 cup a day so I don't need much anyhow.

I am so sorry to hear that Torey has moved out.  I know how hard that must be on you.  I remember when Holly went off to college.  It about killed me.  Now she's married and moved out again, but only 3 miles away.  Thank God!  Have you listed your wedding anywhere and the wedding party?  Holly had one listed on her Facebook with a countdown to her wedding and posted pics of her wedding party.  Now it just says how many days they have been married.  63, can you imagine that?  Anway, would love to hear who all is in your wedding party.  Can't wait to hear more about it.

Morning Randall, had me some plain ole jane coffee and about to head out to do some errands. we were going to go to the lake for the weekend but my DH has an issue with his foot and I think it is best we just stay home. was looking forward to the quiet time but it will be ok. Think I may just go to some thrift stores ect and look around. always work I could do at home.
