Thanks for your prayers & continue to pray please !!

My brother is on drugs he's 52, and he is taring my family apart. I am so hurt and upset please contiune to pray for us . It's really bad.

Oh Vickie...I am so sorry.  Drugs are horrible and people do not understand how much and how negatively they can affect your home and family if they have not experienced this.  I know that they will totally tear people apart.  I am praying that God will send the right person to your brother and that your family will pull together instead of being torn apart.  Love you!!!

Vicki just wanted to say that it might help you all if you could attend some NA meeting. If there is none of those in your area try the AA meeting. They are wonderful and will give you a lot of insight into the problem. I once heard this expression and I have lived by it a lot, " You are allowing this person to occupy rent free space in your brain" . There is nothing that you can do until they have hit rock bottom and then decides for themselves that they need help. I hope that I did not offend you in any way but if need to talk please PM me. I have worked with these kind of problems when I was nursing.

Vicky, I am so sorry to hear this for you and your family and your brother.  My husband and I will pray for all of you.  May God give you wisdom on how to handle the situation.  Drugs can distroy a family but God is bigger than any drug problem and He can help you cope with this.  I will also pray that God will send someone that will beable to reach you brother, because alot of times family is unable to reach the person because they are so close and that person doesn't want to listen to a family member.

HI VICKIE, I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR BROTHER.  THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT CAN'T BE HANDLE UNTIL THE PERSON REALIZED THAT IT IS NOT GOOD AND AND IS SLOWLY DRAINING THE LIFE FROM THEM AND PUTTING THE FAMILY THRU LOST OF STRESS.  I HAVE A UNCLE THAT IS ON DRUGS AND BEEN TO REHAB SEVERAL TIMES FOR (US).  THE KEY WORD IS "US" HE HAS TO WANT TO GET OFF FOR HIMSELF.  AND WITH GOD'S HELP AND THE SUPPORT OF FAMILY IT IS INDEED POSSIBLE.  I PRAY FOR GOD'S GRACE AND MERCY BE WITH YOU, YOUR BROTHER AND THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY.
