Are you scared of what it is...

I AM FREEZING.... I was never cold before surgery and now it is a 100 degrees outside and I am trying to work at my desk and I am literal shaking I am so cold...

I used to pick fun at people that had a jacket on in the summer... Well guess what if I OWNED a jacket, I would have it on....

I guess I am going to have to go shopping for a jacket.. YES in JULY...... =)

Don't get me wrong I am not complaining about not having the insulation to keep me warm..... but I am just shocked!!!

What a change the body goes thru in such a short period..

Well I thought I would share... I think I am going to go outside and try and get warm.....

Been there - done that!!!

I had a jacket on all morning. I went out at lunch and still had it on. I finally took it off while shopping. I have a small heater beside my desk that runs spring, summer, fall and winter!!

I stay freezing too.  I keep the heat on in my truck all the time.

Hi Kelly, I stay cold too,I wear long sleeves all of the time. I freeze in the gro. stores too. I keep a blanket in my car. Maxie has the house on 60* degrees, so I wear layered clothes.  So far I have lost 102 lbs.  Have a good day.Ellen

I think most of us went from burning up to freezing after WLS.  I know I did too.  They freeze me so badly at my job.  I can't say much, because I don't want them to be to hot, so I carry a jacket.  I also have a small heater that I keep under my desk.  Doesn't it feel good outside????  I love it.  Thought I would never say that.

Between the surgery freezeeeeee and the Lupus temp changes I never know what to expect!  My feet usually stay blue.

My husband froze for many years and now I am the one who wears a sweatshirt around the house.  I wrap up in an Alabama throw (ROLL TIDE) at work.

We were almost surgery buddies with Dr. DeWitt.  He and his staff are great!!

I am cold a lot also. I freeze at work and there isn't even a A/C vent in my office....LOL. They keep it cold enough in thre that I dont need/want one in my office.

I am in the same boat.   I keep a heater under my desk, and it runs all year.  Even at 100* outside, I can get cold in here.  At home, I wear socks & lounging pants, and stay covered up under a heavy throw when watching TV.     I love stepping outside when I'm cold...the quick warm up is heavenly!

Hi, I had my RNY 10/30/06 and am 3 weeks post-op Breast reduction ( I love my new boobs!) and panniculectomy.  I'm at my computer in flannel jammies and 2 pairs of socks.  I don't miss sweating so much it's embarrassing...
