Wednesday Coffee Talk
Our challenge today is to see yourself as strangers would see you. What do you see? Do you like what you see? Would you like you? Would you want to be your own friend? If you say yes, that's a good thing. If you see things that need changing, things you don't like, or you say I don't know if I could be "my" friend or not, then you need to make a few changes. I'm dealing with a young man and I am teaching him this very thing. DO YOU OR WOULD YOU WANT TO BE "YOUR" FRIEND? I see things in my own life at 42 years old that I need to change in order to draw more friends. I think if we all looked at our lives, there are some negative things we could get rid of. Right??
So, who's up? What cha sippin' on this morning? Let me tell ya bout the AWESOME coffee I am enjoying!!!!! Kelly from MN aka Adriannamae, sent me several packs of coffee. One if them is Swiss Almond Mocha. I'm in heaven with this coffee. Well, mental heaven on earth that is. HAHAHAHA This stuff sure is good. I'd save a cup for ya if you were close enough! Thanks again Kelly for my Birthday coffee. Sure is good!
Ya'll have a wonderful day as you think about being your own friend!

Good Morning my dear friend! What a wonderful day already. I woke up feeling overly happy, I bet God has a good report for me tomarrow at the Drs. I feel so calm and happy!
After reading your challenge I sat here and thought about it before posting and this is what I came up with, I believe that people see me as a person who: is extremely friendly, helpful, lovable, respectful, caring, out going, funny, a person who would give you the shirt off her back even if it was the last shirt she owned; however they also see a women struggling to learn more about the Lord and to become a better Christian. I also sometimes forget about my mouth...I admit I sometimes say bad words (my dad was a sailor...lol) I am really struggling with that part. But I am changing for the positive. There are things I would change and starting today with your challenge I am going to work harder in these areas! Thank you for this challenge today, I believe I needed it!
I'm sitting here sipping on an Orange soda about to get ready to go to my favorite restaurant then off to pay bill, shop for more school uniforms then off to work a 2pm! I hope you all have a blessed day and I love you all!
You have finally convinced me. I need to venture out coffee-wise and get some new flavor in my life. Every day I read just to see what flavor you are drinking and it always sounds so delicious. Maybe I do need to subscribe to Boca Java. I am already a Starbucks fanatic (thanks, Julie C).
Today is a good day. I only have one more work day this week. Taking Friday off to attend a funeral :(
I strive to lead by example. I am an office manager and feel that it's important for me to help set the tone of the office by being upbeat, always delivering compliments when warranted and just being happy (or at least putting on my happy face...which usually ends up doing the trick and making me feel better). I want people to want to be around me. I genuinely care what people think about me. I realize not everyone is going to like me, but I can honestly say I have never in my life had an enemy. It takes too much effort to hate someone.
