Carmen, where are you???

Hello my friend.  I was just wondering where you and Mr. John stay in Mentone.  A couple in the church where we were Sunday own three cabins and they let us have one for the weekend.  My son Scott had a big laugh when we told him the name of it.  It was called "Old Timers".  It was wonderful.  We had such a good time.

Hey there you sweet lady you!!!  We stay in the Mentone Cabins (Cupid's Crest) and we normally stay in Cupid's Escape unless we are bringing the family, which we have only done once and we stay in the Stairway to Heaven cabin.  We have stayed in the Cupid's Hideaway once when the Escape was taken.  I have never stayed where you stayed, but all of the cabins are wonderful.  I love looking down off the brow of the mountain early in the mornings.  It is as close to heaven as I believe we can get here.  It is so peaceful.  I wish we could have come to the meeting, but my son is now with us, and we are having to be at home right now.  I know you all had a great time.  Love you!!

I wish I had thought to ask before we went up.  I would have looked for your cabin.  We had such a good time.  When are you going back?  I bet it is so pretty in the fall when the leaves are changing.  Have a good day!!

We will be going the weekend of Sept. 5 for our anniversary.  We try to go every year on our anniversary.
