Help Me Dance Moms!
Eryn needs new leotards, and i was going to order them for her online (i get 5% off plus 5% cash back from sunshine rewards!) but i honestly don't know which size to get! according to the charts, her body is totally out of proportion! a child large is too small and in the adult small she's just slightly below range in bust, 3-4 inches above range in waist, 2-3 inches above in hips, just right in girth and below range in inseam! what do i do? i'm afraid if i go to a medium it'll be too big and be like last year's recital costume-the crotch of the leotard hung between her legs, lol. but i need to get the right size so i don't have to pay return shipping for something that doesn't fit. i know dancewear is made sorta small, so does anyone have any suggestions? i need all the help i can get!
Now to answer you, could you order a couple of sizes and return what doesn't work? That's the only way I would do it. Tara was kind of hard to fit (she took dance for 9 years) and so we always bought locally. I would never have tried to order her things.
i considered ordering an adult small and medium, just to try them on her, but then i'd have to pay return shipping on the one that didn't fit, or put it up for her to wear later on and most likely lose it, lol. the closest dancewear shop is about 25-30 minutes from me and their prices are absolutely outrageous, so i hope i can avoid shopping there. i used to be able to buy her stuff at wal-mart, but she's outgrown the girl's sizes and i don't remember seeing any juniors/women's stuff. i hope eryn sticks it out with ballet for 9 years! wow! i took 7 years of it myself and LOOOVED it.
Thanks & Hugs,
Donya
