Please keep Mike in your thoughts & prayers
I am not asking for me. I am asking you to lift my dear Hubby up in love & prayers.
Things are not going well on my end (literally) & I go Wednesday to discuss Surgery with my EndoRectal Surgeon. He said this is not going to be a good or easy surgery. At this point, all I know is that.
I am terrified of ending up with a colostomy bag. I KNOW there are worse things in life, but right now, that is still a major fear. I have not personally been told about a bag, but I have read enough on what I do know, to realize this may be in my future.
Mike is beyond worried, he is now having stomach issues himself. I cannot imagine being in his shoes. I strongly feel it is an ulcer & intend on contacting some of his Chain of Command to make sure he takes care of himself.
When I speak with my Dr on Wednesday, I will be having the Dr contact the Red Cross, to see about getting my heart back home with me. The hospital stay alone, will be 1-2 weeks. (I know this from research, not my Dr). As long as I have my Mikey-Mike by my side, I can & will handle anything, but for sucj a big, bad, salty Army Sarge, he is fragile when it comes to his family.
Please forgive me if I do not respond, my son has gotten major viruses on BOTH of my computers & I can only get the desktop to work sporadically. (sp??!!) If I have access to a computer, I will keep you updated.

For those that may wonder, Chesney saw his Specialist & he will wait until it cools down to get his surgery, to avoid life-threatening complications. As for now, he has to stay in out of the heat & live a life of luxury. I have total faith in this new Vet, he is a Bulldog Specialist & you can see the love for the animal in his face. And the cost of the suregery is less that 1/2 of what we expected, that is with his neuturing at the same time, too!! (Poor guy is gonna wonder what the HECK happened!!)

I sure will be praying for ya'll Bonnie. I know you've have a really tough year and for most of it have not had your husband here by your side. IF you do have to have surgery I pray they let Mike come home.
Tell Chesney to behave and just enjoy the wonderful air-conditioned indoors! My little yorkie Sam has an ear infection and hasn't felt well at all. He's coming around today though and is on the road to recovery!

i wish ou the most and the best for you and your family. May god keep you close in his reach and stay in yalls heart. Take care of your self myfriend and know you have prayers from sunny florida your way.
Diogi and Petey are now jealous of Chesney...they want to live in luxoury too LOL. I told them only good bulldogs get this--so they will try to grown up so they can be like him too and they pass there well wishes for him as well
