Could you pray?

I got a phone call last night about 11:30 from one of my Youth.  He is 15.  On the other end of the phone, I heard a scared little boy crying.  In his voice, I heard a man, trying to be brave.  You see, he has anger issues and he and his step father got into a physical altercation.  The police were not called.  The step father physically threw him out of the house and told him to not come back.  The mother is tired of the anger issues and to a point, I can't blame her.  He was crying and needed me to pray for him.  He was safe and I knew where he was along with his mom.   He asked if he could come here this morning.  I told him yes.  This is my heart ya'll.  Ministering to youth and helping them.  I NEED WISDOM ON HOW TO HANDLE THIS!  My heart goes out to our young people today.  My heart is so heavy for them.  They face things we NEVER thought we would face.  They are starving for love, affection, CORRECTION, and attention.  If we don't correct them, they see no boundries.  This young man needs love and attention.  I can't let him stay here with my 15 year old daughter.  I know I am his Youth Pastor, but I can't allow him to stay here.  While he is here, he will be with me at all times.  Not just because of Allison, but because I WILL be talking to him about his temper and other issues.  Tomorrow, DHR or child services will be called.  This young man doesn't need to be caught up in the system or sent off.  He NEEDS the love of his mother!   Please pray for him, his mom, AND this stepfather!  When we marry and have children, we need to know that we are getting a package deal, not just a spouse alone.  You are getting children too if they have kids.  I KNOW GOD CAN CHANGE THIS SITUATION!  PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!  Prayer warriors, let's pray for ALL of our young people!  Please help me pray for this young man.  He needs help!  Let's pray for the FAMILY as a whole!  The devil wants to destroy the family.  If he can get into the family and destroy it, he will.  ONLY if we allow him to though.  Thank you in advance for praying with me!  Love you guys!

I fully understand your situation.  Many years ago my brother and SIL were in that same situation with a young fellow from their church.  He was a good friend to their daughter and son from school.  Like your situation, this fellow had anger issues and problems from his step-father.  Knowing they had a teen daughter the same age as this boy, they took him into their home.  Strict rules were set and immediate counseling was obtained.  This young man lived with them for 5 years.  Through prayer and lots of love and affection he became a role model "son".    His natural family visited frequently and even asked if they would take their other son who was a problem child.  We are not talking about parents that did not love their sons but more of a situation where the right thing was done for the children.  The two families became close and two young boys have become wonderful and respected men.

I am praying that the Lord will give you the words of wisdom that this young man needs to hear.  I pray that the Lord will come into this families life and make the much needed changes for eachof them.  I also pray that some one will come along that can take this child in and become the family that he needs, as he does NOT need the ALABAMA SYSTEM!!!!  He needs love, support, as you said correction, attention and affection...not shifted in and out of the system.....this will only make him more angry, this is being said from personal experience.  I am praying for you, him, his mother and his step-father, may God place his hand unpon each of you and direct ya'll to the correct path.

I will most definately keep this young man and his family in my thoughts and prayers..  You too for the knowledge and wisdom.  YOU are so awesome to be there for him! 

I am praying that God will comfort this child and that He will give you the wisdom you need to deal with this.  Also, I am praying that this mother do the right thing and that the step-father realize that he needs the Lord and that God move all obstacles out of this young man's life in order for him to be the person that God wants him to be.  I am also praying that placement for this child is found and that the placement be a home with God in it.  I know God is going to work all of this out for HIS Glory!!!

Having dealt with a 15 year old who has Biopolar has been so hard. I know the devil works hard to destroy what we love and to take the JOY away from us.
I am standing on God's Promise for his children and I know that he will guide you and this Youth and get him on the path he needs to be on.
God's love is shining through today in YOU, Brother!! And that is the start!
