cortisone-nausea question

I have been nauseated off and on for several weeks with occassional vomiting. I'm not sick, like from a stomach virus, once I vomit, I feel better. My question is, can cortisone shots be the culprit? I've had a series of three shots and it seems that I've had nausea ever since I started them and I'm due to get another shot on Monday. The last shot helped my shoulder and I need all the help I can get with that.. but not at the expense at throwing up. Know what I mean?

If you have taken cortisone shots, did they make you nauseated?  

Yes, It is possible that stress is playing a role in my nausea. My oldest daughter just had her first baby (I spent three weeks in Orlando with her). My middle daughter is expecting her third child (I am flying to Germany on Wednesday and will be there for 5 weeks). My son in law is deploying to Iraq shortly after the baby is born. My mom has Lou Gehrig's Disease... so yes, I have stress in my lfe but stress has never been a factor before.

So which one is the likeliest culprit? or should I look for other causes?

I am going to have a wonderful time in Germany. I can handle this little inconvenient although I'd like for it to go away. I'll mention it to my doctor on Monday and see what he thinks. Nausea is not a typical side effect of cortisone but who says I'm typical?

It looks like the board is slow today.. everybody must be out enjoying their weekend.
