i WILL be there. I also have an idea. My little girl has started doing fun runs (1miles) with me when I do my 5ks. If anyone is unable to walk, my 7yo will walk/run in your place. This way you can participate and get the shirt, and she is under 12 so she will already have a shirt AND she can earn a "Fun Run" badge for her girl scout vest!

ALSO, we have an entire troop who may want to be your legs that day... so hook us up.

Nanci that sounds like a good idea to me. But I am not in charge so my vote does not count. I may not get to walk with my feet but I am still going to sign on for the walk.

I would love to be there but it looks like it will fall on my work week. I work 7 on 7 off so I work every other weekend. If something changes I will be there.

They are doing a walk the same day in Pensacola, Florida (an hour away).
So I am going!!
I also am asking my support group! I know some of them will join in.
As is my family.
I will be walking at the same time you will away from Obesity!! :-)

Good morning Michelle! I am planning on coming and I am bringing my husband to walk as well!! I have also asked my sister in law to join us too. So we may just make it a "family affair" lol. I am looking forward to meeting so many of the wonderful people that I have met on here.
