Walk From Obesity Birmingham 2008!!!
DATE: October 4th, 2008
PLACE: Regions Park (Hoover Alabama)
TIME: 7am Register or register online @ www.walkfromobesity.com
WALK STARTS:8:30am SIGNUP/REGISTERATION FEE $25.00 per person walking, FREE T-shirt with signup when you register.
No registration fee for children ages 12 and under & they will also get a FREE T-Shirt. Make your plans to join us NOW..(Mark YOU Calendar) Please come join th fun!! Looking forward to seeing everyone ..and making this the best walk Birmingham AL has ever seen.
This is a 1 mile walk, If you are unable to walk, please come out and support us.

The funds raised through this event support the ASMBS Foundation and the Obesity Action Coalition's independent educational missions and fund programs focused on prevention, research, education and advocacy for all those affected by obesity.

It usto be the HooverMet..now its Regions Park since the name change. Home of the Birmingham Barons

Directions from I-459
Take I-459 towards Tuscaloosa and exit at the Regions Park Stadium #10 exit.  Turn left at light and go under I-459 interstate overpass.  At the 3^rd traffic light turn right onto Stadium Trace Parkway.  Follow Stadium Trace Parkway for about 2-3 miles and the stadium is on the left.

I can't wait..its going to be lots of fun!!

Hi Michele. I will be there but not sure about walking. Depends on the foot that day. But I would like for all of Dr Freemans patients to come out of hiding and lets all do this together as a group. We are planning as of now to go shopping afterwards. Some of us is needing to go by The Fitting Touch while we are in the area.
If there is someone out there who is Dr. Freemans patients and would like to walk but for some reason is not able to do it because of the regristration fee please Pm me and we will work something out.
