Thursday Coffee Talk

Good Thursday morning!  I slept late!  Late for me that is and it sure does feel good.  I think I slept better last night than I have in a LONG time.  I've been sleeping good, just waking up EARLY!  LOL  Sleeping in (6:45) sure feels great!

Our challenge for today is to help someone.  Lend a hand.  Reach out and help them at work, home, play, or if someone just needs an ear.  You'll never know how much that will mean to a person if you'll just help them.  You could even hold a door open for a total stranger.  Lending a hand is getting rare these days.  Too often we are thinking about ourselves.  I am afraid that today's society is getting the mentality that it is "All about me and looking out for me".  We need to think of others more and help where we are needed.  C'mon!  Join me in this challenge.  Let's make our EARTH a better place!

So!  What cha sipping on this morning?  Me?  I'm LOVING me some Maxwell House regular and it sure is good.  The flavored coffee is good, but sometimes it sure is good to enjoy the regular stuff.

Good morning Randall!!!!  Yep...we need to do more to make others life easier and in the long run, ours will be better.  I know where all my kids are today and that makes me happy.  Please keep Adam in your prayers.  He has many things to take care of that has happened in the past few months and he has to go and talk to his boss Monday.  He is at a cross road and will need guidance from the Lord in which way to go.  I am trusting God that he is on his way out of this mess.  Love you!!

well I slept fairly good. was afraid I wouldnt but took half of an ambien and slept about 5 hours. thats actually pretty good for me.
Your challenge is one I do try to practice alot. it can be as simple as letting that person that has a few items go before me in the checkout line or letting a car merge. There are so many little acts of kindness that I can do, it makes a person feel good to be nice

Thanks randall. I am trying really hard to get back to my old self...it is a slow process but I am working on it.
Just plain ole jane for me this morning. I save my flavored coffees (decaf) for the afternoons. then it is like a treat for me!
My coworker/friend left for vacation yesterday. I offered to go take care of her garden and she said to PLEASE use the pool while she is gone ( I have open invite there but never do it) so I offered to keep the boys today and we will go hang out and play in the water for a bit. first i need to put up some garden vegies
