Update on calling the doctor
I understand your excitment and anxiousness, I was in the same boat this time last year. I can say that since I use the same doctors office, they are not ignoring you. This is a REALLY busy practice!!! I have seen them in action and they are on the GO returning hundreds-literally- of calls a day. One day when I went in to get a fill, the receptionist was on the verge of tears because someone had called and called wanted something and all she can do is take a message. Well, they called her back and lit into her like it was her fault. I felt for her. So, be patient! I promise, the end result is all the same and it is will come in time.
