Update on calling the doctor

Well I have called the bariatric Doc twice today they took messages and did not return my calls

. I don't understand all they have to do is give me a surgery date!!!!!! Everything is there and approved Grrrrrrrrr What else can I do ????

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Dont let this discourage you Vicki. Maybe there is a reason for delaying your schedule. All in Gods time. If you dont hear anything tomorrow, stop by their office if you live in the area. Just a thought.

Hey Vickie...

I know it is discouraging....but, as a nurse working for an Ortho surgeon I can tell you that each day I get no less than 35 phone messages. I try to answer them after clinic..we weed throught the pain med requests, the request for sooner appt's, the complaint's, and the demands from worker comp carriers and insurance providers as well as Phys Therapy requests for new orders. Doing all this while we try to schedule the surgeries that were ordered that day or approved that day. I promise they aren't meaning to ignore you....that does not help I know but, I just want to reassure you that you are a priority for them. Just gently remind them that you are waiting to hear from them. Maybe today you can post "I GOT MY SURGERY DATE!!!"

Thanks Lisa, I know their busy, I called last week and left messages they never returned my calls,as I left them again yesterday with no response. I was aggraveted A little. I hope I can make that post soon LOL. I am just excited!! LOL I was being a little brat LOL
