gone to the birds

well some long awaited quiet time for me....had the little ones for 3 days and nights. Sent the DH off for the day and just got back from the store with my daughter and little ones....long story there.

Anyway as for the birds.... I get home, let the dogs out to potty and settle down for a bit of relaxation and now the birds want to "talk" so I have one saying "I love you Mama" the other saying "I am a big bird" and the 3rd doing his "pretty bird" (about all he says) so no relaxation here!

Bless your heart!!!  I know those birds can TALK!!!! 

We have them in some of our facilities.  One of my facilities had the cages moved near the nurse's station this past week. (because the walls were being painted where the birds typically stay)   These birds say ANYTHING.  They even mimick the alarms on the doors and the resident's chairs!!!  One of the birds will say "MEOW" and then "HERE KITTY, KITTY, KITTY!"  I am NOT kidding!!!  It absolutely amazes me that these birds can say SO MUCH!!!!!

yeah my quaker is a loud mouth and the african grey is the one that I get the biggest kick out of. He needs his wings clipped...learned how to get around a bit more than I would like and has been "visiting" the other two birds which could end up with some serious injury. He is in there now saying Mama go to work because I left the room
