My Mini WoW Moment!

Hi Guys! I hope everyone is doing good. I was very depressed a few weeks ago and posted about my month long stall and how I was so upset that I was not gonna make it to a size 20 jeans before my birthday which was July 4. Well I have not actually weighed myself except for about 1 week ago. I was down 4 pounds then, but the CRAZY part is. I went out to buy some shorts coz I need some to wear for pool physical therapy.. For sure IM NOT GONNA wear a swim suit. While I was in the store I decided to try on some more clothes too.. So here I am going in the dressing room with a arm full of clothes. I took a chance on the size 20 shorts and some jeans. THEY WERE TOO BIG!!! I SKIPPED THE SiZE 20 to my SUPRISE and I've went straight to a SIZE 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not been in a size 18 since I was about 21 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought shorts for physical therapy and some jeans shorts to wear at home. Today my husband saw me in shorts, something IVE NEVER WORN around him.. He was in SHOCK.. He said "OMG LOOK AT MS. HOT MOMMA!" . I laughed at him coz he is crazy, but I really really am so happy that I am getting a little closer to being a "normal" size. Thanks to God and Dr. Weinstien for this miracle in my life. I just wanted to share my wow moment with my OH family.

That is great Elizabeth!!! Woo Hoo!!  When the pounds don't come off it doesn't mean you aren't losing!  The inches are what matters!  Congratulations.  I will do the happy dance with ya!!  If you're not working Tuesday night, maybe you can come to the ASlimchance Support Group meeting at the Providence.  If you are able to let me know and I will send directions to the room!  Congratulations again MS. HOT MAMMA!!!

Hey Connie.. Tell me about what time this meeting starts... If I remember its on the second tuesday of every month?? I have a very early doc appointment in the morning so I wont be able to make tonights meeting but.. I PROMISE, I will do my best to come to the next meeting. I really do need to be around others who have had the surgery for some support. Let me know also what area yall are in for the meeting.

Congratulations!  I am so happy for you!  That is a GREAT "WOW" moment!!!

Isn't that the MOST fun???  You just wait until the first time you can shop in the "regular" sizes (whatever society considers normal).  I cried!  I called my husband from the dressing room, and he was like "What's wrong?"  I was on my cell phone and I said, "Guess what?  I got up the nerve to try on some 16s and they fit!!! And they're not 16W!!!"  It is an awesome feeling and you will have MANY more!  Just you wait and see.  Good for you!
