OT: I need prayers for my son

I know that this may be trivial, but my son is having to make a huge decision.  It is a decision that will, in a way, save his life.  His life is in a turmoil.  He needs to leave the situation he is in and it could cost him a job of 3 years.  However, he wants to go back to college, so this may be his chance.  I have been praying, and you may think I'm crazy, that God would bring him to the point that he could no longer stay in this situation.  He is pretty low right now.  Where he is will not get any better and he needs to get out.  Anyway...I appreciate everyone who will lift him up in prayer.   It hurts so much to see your child hurting so badly.  I know when they are injured it is horrible, but to see them go down hill from where you know they should be and to see them try to help and love someone who uses them rips your heart out.  Thanks so much for listening to my rambling.  I love you all and thank you so much.

Carmen

When our kids are wee ones they step on our toes as they learn to walk.  After they are grown they sometimes stomp on our hearts.  When the time is right we pray he will hear the answer.

Gwen, my grandmother use to tell me that all the time and I thought she was crazy.  Boy was she ever right LOL.  He has lost everything because of this situation.  I know that he is going to be ok.  Thanks so much!!!

Carmen, I hesitated to log on this monring as I'm leaving in a couple of hours for vacation.  I know the Lord was telling me to check the boards.  Your son's needs will be in my prayers!

Carmen,

This sounds everything BUT trivial and you are NOT crazy! (well...maybe just a tad haha) I will be praying for peace and a clear mind for him to make the decision that would be best for him and his future.

The night is always darkest before the sun starts it rise.  Praying he will make a decision that gives him peace. It always seems the decision is the hardest part of any change.  Love you! Nanci
