Tummy Issues Update

I went to see the GI doc today and he is sending me for a barium swallow tomorrow morning. Depending on what that shows, then I might have to have an EGD done. He put me on Nexium and Reglan. He acted like he was suprised that I wasn't already put on Reglan (like at the hopsital) instead of so many nausea meds. The pain is absolutely horrible when I try to eat. He thinks that it could be one of several things....maybe an ulcer either in the pouch or going to the pouch (I think that is what he said) or that the pouch could be closed off! He also thought about gastritis in the pouch. I just hope he figures it out. I know he will. I am praying. Please pray with me! I am so tired!! The nausea/vomitting continue, this has just gone on too long. I love you all and I am sorry that I am not here posting like I used to be. I do miss you!! Love, Lindy P.S. The Cardio also is trying me on a med for the Dysautonomia. It will help me to retain salt, minerals, & fluids so that I won't dehydrate so fast.

Thanks for updating. You are in my daily prayers. Maybe they can find out what is wrong and get you better. I dont know why you are sorry for not posting. You feel pretty bad im sure but you look good. Love ya Stacy

TY Mom!! I am STILL awake!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot sleep!!! I have sooooo. I guess I am going to have to discuss that with the dr but I do NOT want to go back on a sleeping med, b/c I a so many other meds, but all the new some have side effects of sleep disturbances! ekkkkkkk Just what I need. I guess I might get a nap after the test??? Probably not! Love ya!!!

I sure hope he finds out the issue and fast, I hate that you are in pain! Are the meds he gave you working so far? I will be keeping you in my prayers that you soon will be healed and for good! I sure miss seeing you around!
