Julie Update

Julie called me a bit ago and she is back in the hospital.  We had a bad connection, but I did understand that she was having trouble with the tpn and Teddy took her to the hospital to get it  fixed and they admitted her.  She is having trouble and cannot keep anything down.  She thinks that they will probably insert the port while she is there.  She asks that everyone who will, pray for her.  Thanks so much!!!!

Carmen, I'll keep Julie in my prayers.  OK, I plead ignorant, what's tpn?  BTW, did you see who showed up?  Debbie

It stands for Total Parenteral Nutrition.  It is where a person is fed intravenously.  That is really all I know.  There are some nurses on here and others who can probably tell you more.  Yep....I saw that special one showup.  You take care.

Carmen, I just talked to Julie a bit ago myself.  The nurses were changing shifts so we got off the phone but we talked a good 30 minutes or so.  I talked to her about the port and gave her some info about it.  I am praying for her complete healing! Beth

Thinking of Julie! Have they done an Endoscopy on her lately to check for stricture or obstruction?  I hate that she is having to use TPN again, hope this resolves quickly.  Tell her im thinking of her and to call if she needs anything, we've gone down a very similar road. ~Heather

I believe they did last time.  However, I am not certain.  I know they did some tests.  I will give her your message and thanks so much!!
