Wednesday Coffee Talk
Good Wednesday morning everyone! Time to rise and shine! It's gonna be a glorious day! The sun is gonna shine and it's gonna be a warm day, but our hearts are gonna make it warmer. Right?
Our challenge for today is to reach out to a young person today. Whether it is your OWN child, a niece or nephew, or a friend's teenager, reach out to them today. Just say something kind to them. I'm telling you, as a Youth Pastor and father of 2 teens, I SEE and HEAR WAY MORE than I want too sometimes! If you are a parent, be concerned about your child/children and what they are doing. Be concerned with WHO they hang out with. Have my kids done anything to cause this coffee talk? No, but one of their "companion" friends is facing something you wouldn't believe all due to a parent NOT really caring. Not being there. We as adults can sow into their lives and make a difference. Let's do this today. Even if you don't have young adults/kids at home, you can still let them know you care. You'd be surprised at how many young people today are STARVING for an adult to show some concern to them!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm LOVING me some New England Caramel Apple Coffee. Reminds me of fall, festivals, and carnivals. It's SO good! I think I'll take a cup and head to the porch swing to do say prayers and meditate for a few minutes. See ya in a little bit!
Have a great day and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reach out to a youth today! Love you all!!
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
Good morning again my friend. PLEASE know that I have and will be praying for you today! Go get 'em girl!! No greater investment! I agree! Oh! And that miracle is in the making. You made me think of that song. Here are the words......sorry to be lengthy this a.m.
THERE'S A MIRACLE IN THE MAKING
1) The crowd was great but she knew she had to reach Him.
For this was her last hope of ever being healed.
So she pressed through until she touched his garment
Oh, right then and there, her miracle was fulfilled.
Chorus
There's a miracle in the making
One for you the Father is working even now.
Your prayers have been heard and the answer’s on the way
There's a miracle in the making for you today
2) Have you prayed and prayed and still you’ve heard no answer.
Has your faith grown weak and you feel you're all alone?
Don't give up for the God you serve won't leave you.
There's a miracle for you, just keep holding on.
Chorus
There's a miracle in the making
One for you the Father is working even now.
Your prayers have been heard and the answer’s on the way
There's a miracle in the making for you today

Morning Randall ~
What if your child is going through that, "Im 19 and can do what I want.." phase...!?!
Sometimes I feel like I could open a can of whoop on her but dont. Jen needs Jesus.. Ya see I am born again and love the Lord and although my family respects that 100%, neitherhas interest to join me on my walk. Sometimes I get her to come to church with me and hope one of these times she is touched. She carries such an air of negativity about her about everything and it frustrates me to know end. SO.. as much as I love...love...love my Jen, I need to pray for the Lord to lighten her heart and open her eyes.. Guess maybe I went off track here.. Sorry...
Have a super great day!
Dana
Morning dear Friend! I AM there with you! They get to the age, after graduation and 19 or so, that they think they are grown, know it ALL, and want their INDEPENDENCE! Then, when reality hits them in the face, they'll come running back to ya. I'm praying for you and for Jen. Randy too. God bless you my friend and you keep praying for them and hanging on to God! He IS faithful! Love ya and have a great day!

You sure do drink some tasty sounding coffees. Me, I'm sipping on a double espresso this morning. Nothing like a double espresso to get you going in the morning.
I don't come in contact with any kids during the course of the day and my son is grown and lives in another state so today's challenge will indeed be a challenge for me. Who to reach out to? I will just have to trust that God will put me in a situation today so that I can reach out to a young person. Perhaps it's one of the younger workers at work. Doesn't have to be a kid, right?
Sandi
Good morning Sandi. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my coffies. I have only found one flavor that I can't drink. that's the Butter Nut Toffee flavor. Just too buttery or too much toffee. Can't figure it out, but YUK! LOL Any other ones, I love. You know, reaching out to a younger person at work would surely count. Most of the time, all we have to do is LIVE the LIFE that is RIGHT before our younger society and they will see. I'm a firm beliver of actions speaking louder than words. Have a great day my friend!

Good morning RAndall!!! We do need to pay attention to our children. I have 5 that are each different. They have all needed mom at times, however now...unless it is a financial struggle or a need, mom is not quite so needed. No matter, we must pray and love them constantly. You have a great day. Love ya!!
Good morning Randall. This is a great challange this morning. I do know what my son and his friends are doing. The reason i know is because they are always at our house. They say its fun to come to our house and the food is good. THey can fish, hunt , and ride 4 wheelers. Most of the time when the friends come they stay the weekend. It has always been this way and i like it.
Im sippin on SF Kool Aide. Have a blessed day.
