Pain in left side??

Hi all! I'm asking this for my best friend who had her WLS a month ago. She doing really great with it and has lost right around 30 lbs. But she is now having a pain in her left side for some reason. I know its not her gallbladder she had that removed years ago. She asked me to pop on here and ask my "online friends" as she calls you guys LOL some advice.. she is calling her Dr tomorrow but was wondering if anybody else has delt with this. Jennifer, tell her to DEFINATELY call her M.D.  I had left sided pain for a long time (before I finally went to my M.D.).  My pain was reflux causing pain.  I don't feel a burning sensation in my throat when I eat, rather I ache in my left side/flank area.  Let us know what she finds out.
