Has anyone be able to get BCBS to handle a revision? If so, how??? Thanks

I had a revision from a vbg to an rny in 2005. After many tests, it was determined that I had a staple line break down. Per my surgeon, it was something that just happens sometimes. BCBS did cover my surgery as it was technically necessary. I wish you all the best.

Revision on 02/08/05

My surgeon pretty much said "sometimes things like this happen.." Initial thoughts are that 1 or more staples were not done properly during the VBG and it broke down from there. The upper GI that I had done way back when was so fun.. They videod taped it and we watched how the barium went to the wrong places.
