Skeeters and Snakes and Flies, oh my...
I had a great time camping. I am getting caught up on all my emails, pms, and reading the latest posts. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. I have to admit I got little teary eyed when I watched the fireworks last night with my husband and kids. They were playing patriotic music on WZZK in the background and when they played " Proud to be an American", I had a "moment". Also, when they played Neil Diamond's "Their coming to America", it really got me. My husband's family are immigrants from Sicily less than two generations back. They had no money when they came but they had a dream. And they became citizens of this great nation leaving a loving legacy of faith and hope for their generations. I love that about this country.
There is NO GREATER nation than the USA!!!
Oh, and by the way, the title of this post...
We got bitten by lots of skeeters.
We saw one snake but I didn't get to close to tell what kind.
And, the flies enjoyed a great 4th of July meal.
Hey Nanci!
Glad ya'll had fun. Ant had a "moment" too. Poor baby misses my momma awfuly bad. We were in the car headed home on the 4th and I heard a sniffle. I asked what was wrong and he cried adn cried and finally told me he misses his Grandma. So we went home and called John (my Brother, the one that lives in Boston and took care of momma) he talked with Ant a little bit and he was fine....UNTIL the firework show that was on TV and airing from BOSTON! Poor baby also misses T. Can you believe that he misses T, I wonder if T misses us?
I love ya bunched girlfriend and we have GOT to get together form some remenicing! (sp) Plus Ant says he wants to see ya and give ya a big ole hug!
