true OH question please respond
Sometimes, if I'm eating really dense foods (chicken, steak, etc) I get the feeling you're describing. While it always passes, it can be very uncomfortable. I haven't asked the doc about it, it just hasn't gotten that bad. I usually take some tums or walk around til it passes. I do believe it comes from not chewing properly, but hey, we all get in a hurry, lol.
If the problem persists, you should contact Dr. F to make sure you don't have a stricture or anything.
Good luck,
lisa
Hi Donna. I agree with Lisa. I have not had that problem but I know when we get further out we can eat more and don't have to be so careful with chewing. It might help to eat softer foods for a bit and see if you still have the lump and pain. From what others have said if you have a stricture the pain will be there even with soft food. Keep us updated.
