Monday Coffee Talk
Home Sweet Home! Gotta love it! Good morning everyone. I sure missed all of you. I had a blast in Minnesota and I could NOT have been treated any better. Lucy's family is wonderful and I MISS THEM! I miss LUCY! I have to tell myself, 2 weeks! LOL I hope you all slept as good as I did. I had jet lag yesterday from only 3 hours sleep. I'm rested now and feeling WONDERFUL this morning. I know you are too!
Our challenge today is to be a light. Let someone see the good in you today. So many times, we walk around grumpy and ill, showing our bad side. Today, let's let the GOOD side of us shine. Be a light to someone. Help someone that needs help. Let me share this. In Ohare airport, this country boy (me) needed help finding my way around. I WAS LOST! I asked 3 different ticket agents to help me, 2 totally ignored me, one threw his hands in the air and said someone else will help you. FINALLY after walking more, a young 19-21 year old young man helped me and told me exactly where to go. He let his light shine even in HIS OWN BUSY time. I thanked him and even gave him $5 for a tip. He wouldn't take it, but I made him. He let his light shine in a dark spot for me. You'll never know how much YOU will SHINE if you just do something nice for someone. Let your light shine today. Don't let anyone blow it out! You CAN do this challenge!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm LOVING me some awesome Seatle's Best JavaNilla. I LOVE THIS STUFF!
Ya'll have a wonderful Monday that is FULL OF LIGHT!
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
Man, did I need this...I felt as if my light had a dowse of water just thrown on it this morning in my work emails. I guess I have made that evident by all of my posts, but my heart is just aching this morning from this. It is DIFFICULT to let your light shine when water has been dowsed on it, so PLEASE pray for me today, okay? I'm hurting...actually crying as I read your post and as I type mine.
Welcome Home! You know you were missed round here! It will be a breath of fresh air, to have Mrs. Culpepper join us, I miss her daily inspirtational posts too.
Your story reminds me of being careful of "angels unaware". You never know who you encounter in your life, is sent from above as a test or what their agenda is, which is why you should treat each other equally and without criticism, each and everyday. Have a BLESEED day!
