I LOVE LOVE LOVE red beans & rice!! I guess it's the Louisiana part of me. LOL Here at work, int eh break room I will hace a Weigh****cher's frozen Santa Fe Rice & Beans. Coincidence?

Gosh woman you must get up with your meals planned for the day. Me I can't decide until about an hour before I need to start cooking. I have got to get to the store and get somethng to cook. I have nothing in the house, stopped and got some milk and cereal for Bobby last night. But it will be something quick for sure.

I have to take meat out to unthaw.....  I usually always know a day ahead what I'm going to make....  Also.... had thought about doing potatoes and dumplins the way my Daddy does it....but think I'll do that tomorrow....and some Kraut and weiners...I'm craving it.

no "cooking" for me today... i'm just having some tuna with light mayo and some roasted vegetable ritz crackers and then drinking my fiber concoction.

oh and for those who don't know me from the main board ~ here's a little update: a while back i had a "complication" that i ended up needing exploratory surgery to figure out what was going on. meantime my idiot former pcp kept INSISTING that i was constipated even though i was "going" regularly and kept INSISTING that i take dulcolax. because of this i became dependent on laxatives and the only way to make my colon function WITHOUT the laxatives was to up my fiber into the magadoses and up my water to match.

ok so, here's what i've been doing: i drink 3-5 of these concoctions each day. i have a 24 oz. bottle of water that i get each day and i drink about 3-4 ounces out of the top of it to make room. then i put in one strawberry-kiwi flavored special k2o protein mix packet, one strawberry flavored crystal light packet and then two pink lemonade flavored all bran mix packets. then i freeze it for a couple of hours (not solid though), take it out, shake it up REALLY good and viola! a sweet/tart slushy that gets me "going" AND gets my water in for the day when i mix it up this way then it equals 25 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein and 70 calories. i have gone from needing to take 18+ laxatives daily to produce even the slightest movement to now not using ANY laxatives and i go (nice and soft and easy) 1-3 times daily, every single solitary day. i haven't taken a laxative OR stool softener since sunday, april 13th and i've been "regular" like this ever since thursday, april 17th

We will be having Grilled boneless chops,green salad ,baked Tater ,and I'm going to grill some fresh squash and onions W/ yeast rolls


Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Sounds good....YUM!  We grilled squash the other night and it was SO VERY good.....I ate that INSTEAD of the pork chops.

My husband will be having smoked sausage with red beans and rice and I will be having cottage cheese and pureed fruit (mmmm.... yummy) lol.  But "nothing tastes as good as thin feels" and it will all be worth it when I can say I am at my goal weight. Ya'll please keep praying for me!!
