My gastric bypass surgery is Tues. (24th) with Dr. Pennington at Trinity Medical Center. I am very excited but still a little scared too. Anyone else on here have Dr. Pennington? Thank you and again, hello to everyone! :-)

Hi there, I am Susan and I have been here at OH for a few years. I have yet to have my bypass as wanted but will one day! There are so many people here that can help you in any way you need. Salve! I love your name! Blessed are those who are pacifico! As you can tell, I love italiano. My BFF's MD was Dr. Pennington. He is a really nice person. Don't be surprised if he prays with you or before surgery. He is not shy at all about his Christianity. Needless to say, he has awesome bedside manners. Good luck to you and your new journey unto the LOSER'S BENCH-that's a great place to sit and you are among friends here. Susan-you know your time is coming-I pray for you everyday!

Hi, Welcome to the Bama Board and congratulations on your surgery. You'll do fine. It is normal to be excited and a little scared. This is a big step, but you will do GREAT!!! Just do what your doctor says, sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk as soon as possible after surgery. You, and you entire surgical team will be in my prayers. Will be waiting to hear how great you are doing! I see by one of your photos on your profile that you sing. What kind of music do you sing?
