Shew......It's HOT out there

My goodness, Christian and I just finished a LONG LONG walk thru the neighborhood and man was it ever HOT.  He's sipping on some cool juice and I'm having some Crystal Light Energy drink.  Still pushing tha****ER....  May take another walk this afternoon when it cools down some and try to sweat this potassium outta my body.  Maybe Kyle will walk with me this evening....he's off.  It will be nice to have an evening at home together.

I was born and raised in the south so you would think I would get used to the heat and humidity but I never do.  As a matter of fact, it seems like it gets worse every year.  By August, I rarely go outside unless I absolutely have to.  It gets downright miserable when the dog-days of summer set in (late summer).  I love our mild winters down here in the Gulf area.   Sandi

Ohhhhhhh the GULF....how I long for the GULF.......just a couple more weeks...... Actually the heat doesn't bother me near as much as it used to.  I barely ever sweat.  I know...it's weird, huh?  But it's true.  All that walking right here at noon time and I didn't even break a sweat.  Maybe I need to walk a little harder...heck I was power walking as it was....pushing Christian no less.  Oh well, maybe I should take up RUNNING!  hee hee!!!

You want a good workout try walking in my neighborhood. You don't really walk. I usually run or climb trees. Anything to keep from getting bit by the dogs. I did get hit and bit last month. A bulldog ran into me and nearly knocked my feet out from under me, then he nipped me on the leg. I'm going to start carrying pepper spray.  You enjoy that little man and giv him a big hug from me. Wow, you better be careful Aunt Mary.  Get you a BIG walking stick and beat 'em over the head...take along the pepper spray too.  I only heard one dog bark while I was walking today and it was behind a back yard fence.  Shew.....that was lucky, huh? I'll give Christian a big hug from you when he wakes up.  He's taking a nap.  We took his Daddy out to eat for his b'day tonight, which is Sunday since Kyle is off work tonight.  Then after dinner he informs us that his parents won't be here Sunday...Guess I'll have to cook him a b'day lunch after church....or so he was hinting I suppose.  The big bazooka ate like a horse.

We think its hot here, I saw on the news this morning while getting ready for work that out in Califormian, I think the Palm Springs area it got up to 116!!! I can't imagine heat like that!!! Hope everyone has a great day!!!
