Would you nice ladies stop posting all these great recipes. I haven't had a bite of solid food in 5 days, I've lost 7 pounds and I'm starving to death. Everytime I see  a good recipe it just makes me hungier. I got the two teeth pulled  Tuesday but now I look like a chipmonk(I know they are beautiful creatures) the brusing is pretty bad and the black eye is very colorful. I know I could stand to lose a few pounds but I don't care for the milkshake diet. So please stop posting good recipes until I can eat again.  Post something like roadkill casserrol. Something to take my appitite away.  Now I'm going to go fix another pot of coffee. Take care and take pity on me. Love to all, Miss Mary

Oh Miss Mary I am so sorry I did not realize you werent able to eat solids.  I will try my best to find something for you!  Lets see...............I dunno.......what about this.....
Bar-B-Q'd Armadillo
~ 1 armadillo ~ bacon grease ~ 1 cup butter ~ 1/2 cup ketchup ~ 1/2 cup grated onion ~ 2 tbsp mustard ~ tabasco to taste OR use your favorite BBQ sauce
In a sauce pan, combine the butter, ketchup, onion, mustard and tabasco. Heat over low heat until the butter is melted. Stir occasionally. Rub bacon grease into the armadillo. Grill over a hot fire for 5 minutes. Reduce the fire by half. Baste the meat with the sauce until done. Armadillo is cooked like pork. Serve and Enjoy!

Ingredients

bullet 1 ea Small possum
bullet 2 l Water
bullet 1 t Salt
bullet 16 oz of corn
bullet 1 pinch Celery leaves
bullet 1 pinch Parsley
bullet 1 tbsp Olive Oil
bullet 1 tbsp flour
bullet Fried bread,1 slice per serving

Possum Soup Skin and clean possum, then quarter the animal. Place it in a large pot or camp oven along with water and salt. Cover and simmer gently for 3 or 4 hours. (Tough little devils apparently.)  Add vegetables and simmer for another 1 1/2 hours (Still tough. Even the veggies are resisting being associated with this.) Strain soup through a large holed colander when meat has left bone and remove bones, especially small ones. Return soup to the pot and add parsley and celery leaves. Thicken with mixed olive oil and flour. Cut fried bread into 1 inch squares and serve soup over toast, boiling hot.

Armadillo and Possum, yum yum. See how hungry I am.  Keep trying, I'm sure you can find something to turn my stomach.  I'm wanting bacon. I wonder how a bacon milkshake would taste. Love, Miss Mary

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.
