What ya'll COOKIN' today???
I made a big lunch for Kyle and Jill before they both had to go to work. I made salmon patties, scalloped potatoes, blackeyed peas.....had leftover marinated coleslaw, squash casserole and made fresh cornbread. We also had sliced red tomatoes and hot pepper. They gobbled it down and left for work. I still have plenty for Holly and Beau if they want to come eat too,or I will send them a plate home when Holly comes to get Christian. Christian and I have had a fun day. He got in his pool out back and splashed around and played for awhile. It's been a quiet day......
So, what are you COOKIN' up today???
NUTTIN'!!! I cooked spaghetti and meat sauce last night and I nuked some a little while ago. It was better today. I ate mostly meat sauce and just a little whole wheat angel hair pasta. YUM YUM!!! I am trying to eat more meals instead of the protein bars.
You're sure sound good (pardon me) except for the salmon cakes...I don't love salmon...reminds me of Joe's Crab Shack in Atlanta last September!!!!
Girl you are a mess!!! I am trying. All the way home I wanted to eat a protein bar, but I fought the urge because I knew I had the spaghetti at home. I realized that I have been eating protein bars just about everytime I get in the car to come home from work. I am starting a new rule. NO EATING IN THE CAR!!!!
Sandy called me at work today and asked if I liked our meeting Tuesday night. She said she really did and really liked the smaller room. Since we are such a small group, I think it is good. The chairs are definitely comfy! I told her I had a good time, and even though we laughed alot, I think we did support one another.
You've got to make sure you are in town on the third Tuesday of every month. You and Jimmy add so much to our meeting. I have been missing you!!!!
Love ya!!
I put some Texas Style ribs in the crockpot w/some bbg sauce this morning. Made baked beans and mac & cheese (as requested from son and his girl friend) and boughta loaf of garlic cheese bread at the bakery. I ate some of the meat and a few baked beans and a little bit of the bread. Lets just say none of us will have to worry about vampires tonight....!!!
