OK, i know that alot of ya'll live out in the mobile area.. a couple of years ago we went to gulf shores and we stopped at a restaurant that looks like a boat ( it was off of I 10 i believe) and it was close to the battleship.. we would like to eat there again this time when we go, but i don't know the name or the exact location.. can anyone help me??
i would appreciate any help or info i can get.
Love ya'll
Good morning Tammy. I know of a lot of restaurants on the causeway but I don't ever remember seeing one that looks like a boat. One of the best on the causeway is Ed's Seafood Shack. They have the best seafood. There is another one named Felix's Fish House. The Original Oyster House is there also. Our favorite place to eat seafood is Wolf Bay Lodge out from Foley. It is by far the best seafood restaurant we have ever been to. Maybe Connie or someone else from the Mobile area can remember the place you are talking about.
I just can't think of a place like that. I hope someone will know where it is. Are yall gonna eat at Lambert's? It is a good place to eat for normal people. Too much food for people who have had WLS. I always get a to go box if I am coming straight home. Their fried potatoes and onions are the best thing they have and it is one of their "pass arounds".

Tammy,
I bet you're talking about the Original Oyster House. We eat there everytime we go to Orange Beach. It kind of fits your description and it does have water out back so that when you sit in the dining area you can see the water and fi****'s a great place to go and I love eating there.

Hi Tammy,
I'm not sure of a restaurant that looks like a boat...I don't go across the Causeway that much anymore. The restaurant next to the Battleship is called the Captains Table and it is part of the Best Western Hote.
There are some great restaurants on the causeway. There is Felix's - a little pricey. There is Ed's Seafood Shack and my favorite is The Original Oyster House. I've been to all three. The OOH has the best prices for the best seafood IMHO.
When are you coming through this way? This weekend? Would love to see you...who knows?!?!?
Have a great time at the Gulf!!
Well.. I'm trying to think of one like you are describing and I can't.
when I come from North Alabama it's quickier to get off i-65 on Gulf Shores Pkwy instead of going all the way to Mobile and taking i10 back!
It will save you over an hour drive!!
Their are so many seafood restaurant's here. You will be tired of seafood.
lol
i can't wait to see you!!! when you be here???
