Bob's test today was very rough.  We do not have all of the results but we do know that there is no cancer.  During the procedure his heart rate bottomed out and the crashcart was brought out.  Once they got that situation under control his BP went through the roof which brought on another set of problems.  Welcome to the world of Dysautonomia!  Finally they got everything regulated as best as they could.  They had to bring him out of the anesthesia to control the problems.  They came and got me and put me into the "garb" and took me into the procedure room.  Once Bob knew I was there he began to calm down even though he was groggy.  He has no knowledge of what was going on but he was agitated and getting out of control. He is home now and sleeping.  I have the phones turned off and the closed sign out on the shop hoping he can get some rest.  We have to be back at the office tomorrow morning for them to recheck him. Please continue to pray for him as his cardiologist in Birmingham had to retire due to health so now we must find another cardiologist familiar with dysautonimia.

Hey Gwen.  Praise God for HIS mighty hand of mercy and healing!  I am praying for Bob, but also for you my friend!   Thanks for going by to check on Momma Saturday.  She called me the last 2 days.  She has a serious head cold and diarehea.  Keep her in your prayers too.   God bless you my friend!  God HEAL BOB!

Hey Gwen. There used to be a doctor at St Vincents that specialized in this. I went to see him a good bit back for mitral valve problems and they were not able to do the test for the dysautonomia on me. I really don't think that I have MVP. I will try and find his name if you would like.

Most Dr's don't really believe there is such a thing as dysautonomia.  They think it is all in the head!  I wish those dr's had to either live with it or live with somebody with it then they would change their minds.  It sounds so odd that a person with heart/bp trouble has to eat a HIGH SALT diet but without that Bob can't function. Dr Coghlan was a lifesaver for him but has had to retire.  We praise God every day for that man.  Dr Pinson in Dothan trained under him but he is nothing like Dr C Bob failed his tilt test so bad that Dr Coghlan said it was a miracle he was able to even stand up.  Today was the worst day he has had in several months.  This to shall pass

Oh Gwen, I thank God that there is no cancer.  I am praying that Bob will rest and he will be much better tomorrow.  I am also asking God to send the perfect cardiologist y'all way.  My daughter works for some good ones at Trinity in Birmingham.  You go rest and take care of you, too.  Love you!!!

Please tell Bob that he has got to get better.  I won't have anyone to admire my fish fly tying skills if he cannot do so.  If he needs a high salt diet, does that give you a reason to get a beach house off of your income tax as a medical expense????   Or maybe moving to Salt Lake City, as a medical expense????  I think there is something here in the "salty" category that should be available as a tax deduction under the medical expense, don't you?

Anyway, you both will remain in my prayers, seriously.
