Back From Mexico

I was in Chihuahua....From El Paso to Creel, to La Fuenta, back to Creel, to rim of Copper Canyon, and then to Chihuahua City and then back to El Paso.  I went as close as 60 miles to the West Coast of Mexico....they said the road was too bad for the bus and that there were problems with some government things and the bus system.  Next week it may be completely different.  Mexico is ever changing and there is always some kind of "gordita" going on.

I got some great shawls, belts, and stuff that I really didn't need from the Tarahumara Indians.  I love it down there.  i would live there if I spoke better Spanish and could feel safe.  People have a way of disappearing in Mexico ...but I guess they do in any foreign country.

Geez Karla.....I thought you were HOME HOME!!!!  I was gonna come see you tonight.  I hope your Dad is alright and you don't have to stay away too much longer, but I'm sure he's so happy to have you there with him.  Just bring him on back to Tuscaloosa with you.......
