Are Ya Cookin' For Dad???

If so, whatcha cookin???? I'm not cookin' as I said in another thread.  My stepdaddy always wants to grill.  He is making grilled Ribs, his favorite for Father's Day.  We will have Baked Beans & Corn with it...again HIS FAVORITES.  For Dessert, Butterfinger Brownies topped with Vanilla Ice Cream.  I won't be eating much for most of these foods don't settle with me well, but today ISN'T about me!   SO, What are YOU Cookin' for Day????  Or are you going out to eat????

We are having a dinner after service at church.  I am making kraut and wienners, cupcakes, angel food cake and strawberries.  Also, CL Lemonade.  You have a great day Pretty Lady!!!! Love ya!!

I'm going to have to send Tim over to YOUR house!!!!  That is HIS favorite...Kraut & Weiners with Great Northern Beans, Cornbread & Fried Potatoes.  I don't prepare it often. He LOVES Strawberries too! 

 Alrighty my friend...I've been thinkin'!!!!  I'm going to make YOUR meal for supper tonight FOR TIM for Father's Day.  I've got everything except the beans & kraut and I can pick that up when I get the ice cream on the way to Sonny's after church.   THANK YOU for the idea my sweet friend! 

I lost my dad 10 years ago this past May to cancer. I miss him bunches but know he is in a much better place, celebrating Father's Day with our Heavenly Father!!! So, I am cooking breakfast for my DH (who happens to also be my best friend). Our son has to work today so we are having breakfast together. I am making a breakfast casserole and we are also having some fresh fruit to go with it. My mom is baking a ham for my dh for lunch along with baked beans and tater salad.  Later in the afternoon (for supper) we are going to the river to spend the afternoon with my in-laws. We will be grilling burgers and dogs. I plan to take a salad and keep my meal on the lighter side.  If not, I will regret it!!  

WOWWWW!!!!  That sounds YUMMYYYYY!!!!  I lost my father when I was 19 years old, so I totally understand the "memory of" part of Father's Day.  I am SO FORTUNATE to have a wonderful stepfather who loves me so much.  Have a blast at the RIVER!!!!!!

We went out to eat last night with DH but I think I will take my Dad out to eat today (DH had to work)!  I try my hardest NOT to cook on the weekends!!!!  LOL!!!! Enjoy your cookout! 

 You enjoy spending time with your Dad!!!  Have fun eating out at a restaurant!  I TOTALLY understand not cooking on the weekend...you need  a break sometimes! 

Im not cook'n either...!!  We are all going to my nephews grad party and will eat some good ole cajun jambalaya that my sisters FIL (cajun Chef from LA) is cooking for the day..!   Jen works today and will be joining her boyfriends family for dinner tonight so I plan to grill a steak for my hubby unless ofcourse we eat too much at the grad party...!!
