Just a Post...
Ya know, I have been thinking...and please bare with me. I looked through today's group of Bama's before & after shots of all the beautiful folks...and man, do I see a group of people who are living...who have gotten their lives back due to WLS...no matter if it was gastric bypass or lap band or whatever!!!
I began thinking about my own life...I am 4 1/2 years post op and healthy! I can get up on a ladder and paint my walls today without feeling as if I would BREAK the ladder & fall. And man, do those laundry room walls look awesome too!!!! 
I have energy to GO!!! 
Before I had WLS, I would have to plan out what I would do in a day, carefully, knowing I wouldn't have the energy to do "ALL" I wanted to do. Now, I just GO... and I can get EVERYTHING done in one day.
I am SO thankful to have had WLS! I am a NEW PERSON because of WLS. Jackie CHANGED because of WLS...I am a much more happier, loving, energetic person...not to mention LOUD TOO! 
I thank GOD for my surgeon, for my husband who loved me through EACH STEP OF MY CHANGE, my family and for my OH BAMA FAMILY!!!

Carmen, I just started to think of all the FREEDOM I have now that I no longer am carrying 100+ pounds on my body!!!! I just got overwhelmed with Thankfulness and Joy...That was the point of the post!

You ARE included GIRLIE!!!! Look at where you have come from and where you are now...how your life has changed!!!! Just think of "who" you are now and "who" you were then. I just thank God for my life...being able to move freely without getting out of breath...without hurting in my knees. I still hurt in other places, but not like I did 100# ago!!!!
