Thunder and lightening....
It's clouded up and thundering and lightening outside. No rain yet though. Kyle is working at the church today and Christian and I just got back from visiting with him, the pastor and his family. Christian is now down for a nap. DH is off tonight, so I might have to wind up COOKING afterall. :( Just gonna play that one by ear right now though. hee hee!! I just heated up some mini chicken eggrolls that were left over from the wedding that I put in the freezer. I didn't even try them at the wedding so I have no clue what I'm in for. lol
Okay, I might be off here for awhile if the weather winds up getting bad.

It's thunderin' & lightenin' here too! I love it. We just got back from the M.D. Hunter had a complete physical...the 1st in years! The last appt. he had @ 4 weeks ago...and he was diagnosed with high blood pressure. YUP, at 16 years old!!!! So, he is now on a low dose of Lopressor which seems to be treating the HBP well. His BP was good today 134/68 with heart rate of 68 which is MUCH better than it was 4 weeks ago (160/92 with heart rate of 96).
Physically he looked good today...she drew his labs to check out his lipids, etc.
That's the power of genetics! My mom has HBP...his paternal grandmother has HBP too. I don't have it thank goodness. Actually, mine runs really low. Nurses/techs usually take mine twice b/c it runs so low.
I will keep you posted. He takes his meds well. I've had a long, long talk of what uncontrolled HBP can do to him.
