You work at a job you love.  Possibly the best job up you've ever had. But there's something missing..... a little bit of respect. You work so hard for this company and it's never enough..... What do you do?? I need some help here... What's a girl to do??

Wheewww...that is a tuff one Dixie.  I run into that every day it seems like at my job.  I love it most days and so far is the best job I have had but there is that respect factor...if you find out that answer please let me know.

well, dixie my friend, let me say first of all that i'm thrilled to see your smiling face!  I MISS YOU!   as far as the job goes, i've BTDT, and i'll tell you what happened: i loved my job and the ppl i worked for AND with, but at one point, my boss started having problems at home, which he began to take out on me and everyone else in the office who dared cross his path, but i was his main victim, b/c i was his secretary.  one day he was being a particularly huge pain in the rear end, so in a fit of what i can only classify as "you're gonna act like a 5 year old, so am i" i put a note in his message slot that i quit and the next day, i cleaned out my desk, turned in my key and left.  i was going to have to do it anyway b/c my MIL had just told me a few days earlier that she couldn't keep eryn AND take care of her mil too, but his attitude forced the issue for me.  he was being a twerp and treating me like i was an idiot, and i refused to put up with it anymore.  it was hard financially at first, but we're doing ok now.  whatever you decide, remember that you DESERVE to be valued and respected and we love you! Love & Hugs, Donya :)

Hi Dixie.  I am sorry you are having a hard time with your job.  I guess you have to ask yourself if the job is worth what you are having to put up with.  Having a job you love is good.  If the lack of respect and the unreasonable requirements ruin that for you maybe you need to look for something else.

Hey Dixie...I'm not sure what to tell you here.  I just wanted to tell you, you have been missed around here.  I thought about you this weekend...I used by starbucks card you gave me.  I met a friend I haven't seen in 2 years and had coffee and a chat on the patio.  We had the best time.  Thank you so much for the gift card...
