Anyone know where I can get an ivory colored dress for a wedding quick.  Its only 3 weeks away and I do not want to spend a fortune on a dress I will only wear once.  The wedding is for a dear friend.  Everything is happening so quick.  Thanks for any ideas.

JC Penney's is having an awesome sale on some dresses.  They are 50-60% off.  Give them a try.  Don't know what size you are looking for, but they have a great selection.

Try thrift shops. I got a dress for my son's wedding for $8. It came from Davids Bridal and still had the tags on it. $120. A lot of the high end shops donate things that have been in the store and deemed unsaleable. They get a tax writeoff and we get a bargain.(The only person who was dressed better than me was the bride)Love, Miss Mary

Miss Mary hit the nail on the head. I shop thrift stores and church clothing rooms as much as possible.  I saw a Liz Claiborne formal that was chocolate and ivory  with a matching jacket, New with tags for only $15 at a Catholic Thrift Store.  It was originally $150 .  Just Tuesday I bought 5 sleeveless tops and a brand new underwire (YEAH TMI) bra and only spent $3.00

What size? I have one hanging in my closet that I wore back in October. A picture of it is on my profile if you're interested.
