Is it normal to be gassy after WLS? (TMI)
Since I had my surgery back in February, it seems like I always have gas. (fortunately most of the time it's not smelly....I know TMI). It's not like I am eating foods that would typically make you get gas and I get it really bad. Thankfully it typically hits at night when I am at home and can let 'em rip in privacy and my office is away from everyone else, but I was just wondering if it was just me or do others seem to be a lot more flatulant than before?

Oh girl - nobody can be more gassy than DebbieDoo. I wish I could say mine don't smell and Leo wishes they didn't cause mine are worse than any man's I know.
I know mine are from foods I eat and I can almost tell you how they're going to smell depending on what I eat.

It's not painful gas or anything, it's just ALWAYS there. And powerful...whoa! (I know....TMI again). I get some strange looks from my husband (whom I used to NEVER pass gas infront of despite being together 21 years). Now unless we are at the dinner table I just have to let 'em rip. If we have guests of course I leave the room. You just never know sometimes.
