I know I went on and on about what all I cooked today, but along with the roast, taters, carrots and onions, stewed squash and onions, steamed cabbage, pasta salad and cornbread, I ADDED  "FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!  My Dad brought some over and asked if I'd cook them, so how could I deny my Daddy, right???  So,  my Daddy, Holly, Beau, Jill and Christian  all ate dinner tonight.  Lord, what a mess of food.  Kyle ate some before he went to work and I have another plate for him when he gets in tonight.  It was a wonderful and relaxing day.  Holly and Beau, ate and ran off with Christian to run errands and Daddy sat out on the back patio with me for awhile while Jill went shopping with friends.  Now, it's just me and I'm CHILLIN'!  So peaceful and relaxing here.  Thanks for just being here and letting me ramble.

Me too, Nessa.  My entire family just loves them.  I saved 3 slices for Kyle.  He didn't get any before he went to work.  Daddy hadn't brought them yet.  LOL

I had a hot dog, not what I had planned on cooking for dinner tonight. I will cook it tomorrow as Brandi and the boys will be here by lunch. She had a touch of food poisoning and didn't feel like coming today. Got to go and get those red tomatoes in the morning for Hayden. What ever those little fellows want Neena and Poppa will get it no matter what it takes.

At the end of June I am going to Mississippi to get them for a week. They live in West Miss and I usuall meet  Brandi in Meridan maybe you can ride with me on over there. I will only get the 2 oldest for the summer as they will both be in school next year. When school starts I will have to go and get the baby and keep him some. Did I say I love my boys.

Grandmothers are a special blessing.  I know that I loved mine beyond compare.  They were special people.  Children should all have grandparents that make them feel special and safe.  I feel for those who do not have that special bond with a grandparent.

Karla, You are so right! I think about how special my granny and papa were and I hope that I do just half of what they did with me with Aiden. My grandparents were not rich, they didn't buy my loads but they loved me like no other! And I hope I pass that on to my sweet baby! L&F
