I've got a huge roast with taters, carrots and onions on in the crockpot and I'm going to steam some cabbage, stirfry up some squash and onions and bake a cake of cornbread.  We also have pasta salad too, that I made saturday.  I'm having Holly, Beau and my Daddy over for dinner tonight.  Kyle will eat before he goes in to work. John is gonna nuke some chicken, brocolli and rice (that would be Banquet LOL).  Since he will not eat chicken, he is nuking him some beef and noodles.  Well...it is quick and he can cook it

I am having Boiled Ribs and Kraut with fried corn ,creamed Taters , October Beans and corn sticks( cornbread made in the castiron shaped like corn)


Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

It's been so long since I cooked but we decided to try eating at home this week. I went grocery shopping last night and spent 100.00 on meats and veggies. Tonight I will put porkchops in the crock pot with taters, carrots and baby lima's and slow cook it all night. That way Leo can eat on it when he comes home from work in the morning and I'll have some when I get off in the afternoon. Leo grilled spareribs yesterday and we had enough leftover for today's meal. I was able to purchase 2 large roasts (buy one get one free at Winn Dixie) and I'll put that one of those on for the weekend.

My birthday is Wednesday and Leo wants to take me out so I'm thinking maybe "steak".

Debbie Doo, I can't wait to be a 50's model (like my sweet sister Ellen aka Shirley!) I want to wear that purple and red so bad I can taste it! So I have to settle for the lavendar and pink for now! But honey, when I hit 50 then everyone's gonna know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fish beat me to the 50's a long time ago, but that's okay!  I'd rather be an old man's darling than a young man's slave! Now of course!  Today, I feel like the slave! Hopefully, he will be better soon and I can go back to being the pampered queen that he has made me! LOL! L&F

I am cooking for my Dad today.  We ate out yesterday with his nephew, my cousin, for birthday lunch.  Came back to the house and had chocolate birthday cake and Blue Bell Homemade vanilla ice cream.  I went to buy some little bit of groceries last night and so I am not sure what we are going to have for lunch.
