Carolyn, I agree with you but those two sneeky guys tend to get the better of me.  We live next door to my parents and when I am at work Ant tends to get on that darn bike.  I told him today don't lay those keys down bcuz I will take them and you will never find them. The bike was originally given to my oldest but he didn't want to try to fix it and when it was rideable he would act like a fool on it.  I would rather have Ant who drives with sense than Tee who could careless. I told Ant I want him to take a drives class before Iwill let him get out of sight, IF he ever gets out of it.

Sorry...but I still say if MOM says NO, then that is the final word. For him to do this when you are at work after you have told him not to is disobedient. I would sell the motorcycle and put the money in a savings account for him. If you can not trust him to do as you say just because you leave for work, do you really think he could be trusted to drive a motorcycle. Disobedience is Disobedience. This is a matter of his safety -- and your
NEIGHBORS have no business telling him it is ok to be disobedient---even if they happen to be family.
I know that situation--I live in the house with my elderly parents and across the street from my brother.
