update on the father of Adam's step children

Carolyn~, yes...my step-grandson called me a little while ago and bless his heart, he told me that his daddy was trying to change the radio station and swerved over.  However, the witnesses said that he was on the wrong side of the road for some time and when they hit head on, he was going up a hill and the other truck was coming over the other side of the hill.  I am very angry.  He had no license, no insurance, and other problems.  Thank God, thought that physically, they will all be ok.  He does have a broken hip, leg and abrasions on his spleen, but he will be ok physically.  Thank you so much.

Ahhhhhh....sounds like there may be more issues here.
I think I can understand your anger towards him. No insurance, no license, other problems --and if I remember from one of the other post, the children were not seat belted in, right?
I would be angry too....the CHILDREN deserve better than that.

My son knows how uptight I am about seatbelts and he keeps telling me that they said they had seat belts on, but they little faces are bruised and busted and there were four children in the front of the truck, along with the daddy, because I just found out that the son's friend was with them.  There could not have been more than 3 seat belts.  God had His hand on those children and their father.  I am a stickler about safety due to just as this and it upsets me when people do not make children buckle up.  If an adult does not want to wear a seat belt, so be it, but children should not have a choice.  They should be kept safe.  OK...I'm off my soap box now LOL

Carmen, I agree with you! If adult don't want to wear a seat belt then that's their problem! But all babies need one! I was a person who didn't want to wear one until Rob tried to "catch me without one" ! I started wearing one and I always make my babies wear one! It truly does save lives! I can't imagine going any where now without one! Get a trooper in your family and all rules change! Lisa and Fish

Carmen,  I had to go back and find out what was going on.  Sorry I am just now seeing this.  I will be praying for the father AND for the children.  Thank GOD for HIS awesome WORKS and how everyone was spared!  God is SO good!
