Dr. Facundus/Huntsville, Alabama

Hi Ladies, I have an appointment to see the coordinator June 9th for my first appointment. I was told that my first payment would be $150.00. Can anyone tell me what this appointment will consist of?  Some of you have probably read where I have posted the problems I had with Dr. Suggs office staff in getting in to see him. After discussing it with my MD, he encouraged me to go with Dr. Facundus (which he recommended from the beginning) so I decided to go with his advice. Katy

If i remember correctly the first appointment was just a consultation, you turn in all your paperwork.  They do a metabolic test where you breathe into a tube you get all the info.  Im not sure if you will meet the surgeon on this first visit, i think that was a seperate another $150 visit, with that one you will meet Dr. Facundus he will explain the various procedures he does and you have an opportunity to ask questions.  You will also do an H Polori test, you can check out my profile i put step by step what my process was with Dr. F office. There is another amazing, amazing surgeon in Huntsville named Dr. Mailapur you might want to consider.  I think Dr. Facundus and Mailapur are the two biggies in this area. Best of luck, Heather

Hi Heather, I finally got time to read your profile, & wow! I must say on one hand I'm ready to say Screw this...on another, I'm all for it.  I know I have to do something....Gastric Bypass seems my only way out if I want to live & feel better.  My paperwork came Friday...now just to get it filled out.
