About my Dr. Appointment
Had my Dr appointment last week. I was supposed to find out if the surgery was "too dangerous". What I found out instead was....pretty much nothing!
I have to have another test tomorrow morning, then another test, they are not equipped for here on base, so I have to go to a specialist in Denver. I have never heard of the test & cannot remember the name he gave me, my referral has a totally different name (of the test) & from what I can find on the internet about it, sounds more like torture than a test.
I am trying to remain positive, I really am, but if I stop & think about it for very long, I tear up. I think that is why Mikey-Mike is going above & beyond on the spoiling. I tell him not to, but yeah....he laughs at me!
We did go to Denver yesterday, for family pictures. The lady took Mike, Braden, Chesney & I to a gorgeous park & took 2 hours of pictures! She will edit them & place them on a CD & mail that to me in a week to 10 days, along with printing rights. She showed me some of the pics & they were awesome! I cannot wait! She did all this for $100.00! I thought that was a heck of a deal! If any of ya'll are interested, I will post the link when I put em on my photobucket.
Ok, gotta go marinate steaks, Mike finally bought a grill & swears he can cook on it! Guess we'll find out! haha! He says they grill out & have bar-b-ques ever week over in Iraq! lol!
I am not sure, if any of ya'll had his address over there, if ya do, lemme know, as he will be moving from Warrior to Speicher, so his address will change.
