I had to make a trip to Georgetown on Friday to deliver some baits for Bob then make a dash down to Slocomb to make a pick-up for him.  I decided to cut over to Eufaula and go down Hwy 431 which carried almost right by Mama C's front door.  I stopped  for a few minutes and asked her to ride with me so we could visit longer.  It would only be a few extra miles for me to go home through Headland and was well worth it to spend the time together.  We talked and laughed and yes we talked about everybody on the board again. We have to keep her caught up on what is happening.   We stopped at a vegetable stand and bought tomatoes and eggplants.  I guess you can say Mama Culpepper was going to have Fried Green Tomatoes at the Culpepper Cafe So, if your ears were burning Friday around noon--you know the reason

I took bait up to Granny's Kitchen for the owner.  She was going fishing when she closed. She has some good ole country cooking there!
